IACBE (International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education)
The International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE ) is a specialized accrediting body that promotes and recognizes excellence in business education in colleges and universities at the baccalaureate and graduate levels. The IACBE operates both in the United States and internationally. It was founded in 1997 and is based in the United States.
The IACBE is focused on promoting and recognizing excellence in business education in higher education institutions. Business education comprises such fileds as business administration, accounting, finance, management, marketing, human resources and international business.
In April 2009 Poznan School of Banking submitted an application for IACBE membership. Two months later the IACBE granted WSB an institutional member status. It is the first stage of the IACBE accreditation process.
CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)
CIMA is the worlds leading and largest professional body of management accountants with offices in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom. CIMA prepares people for a career in business. It teaches the skills needed to offer strategic advice, manage risk and make key decisions.
Poznan School of Banking has been recognized by CIMA as a Listed tuition provider for the CIMA examinations. Those who are interested in obtaining professional qualifications in accounting can sit the Certificate in Business Accounting examination at Poznan School of Banking. The examination consists of five papers:
- Fundamentals of Management Accounting
- Fundamentals of Financial Accounting
- Fundamentals of Business Mathematics
- Fundamentals of Business Economics
- Fundamentals of Ethics, Corporate Governance and Business Law
